Gardening Basics Series

Mondays, April 6-May 11th
6:30-8PM

Are you ready to dig into the wonderful world of gardening? Get your green thumbs ready because Baxter’s Gardening Basics Series is back & blooming with opportunities to cultivate your passion for plants!

In this free, 6-Week series you’ll work with local farmers and urban growers to learn everything you need to know to have a successful garden this year! Whether you’ve been gardening for years in your back yard in-ground garden, want to better utilize your raised bed, or have never gardened before and just want to start out with a couple containers on your balcony, this series is for you!

We’ll cover everything from the history of urban growing, soil health, composting, planning, and maintaining your garden!

Those who attend at least 4 of the 6 workshops in this series will be eligible to receive an allotment of free plants from our annual plant sale to help get their garden started!
