Baxter Community Greenhouse
In November of 2011 the ribbon was cut on the Baxter Community Center Greenhouse, and it has organically (pun intended) become a part of so many aspects of our work. Be it the Garden to Early Childhood and Beyond programming, our Annual Plant Sale, or the Fresh Produce that the Greenhouse provides for our Marketplace….the Baxter Greenhouse has found its way into the fabric of everything we do here at Baxter.

Annual Plant Sale 2026
Every year we plant roughly 4,000 seedlings of edible plants including fruits, vegetables, herbs, and a few flowers in our greenhouse to sell at an affordable cost to neighbors at our Annual Plant Sale.
2026 Plant sale dates are Friday, May 15th & Saturday, May 16th. Sale hours TBD. Though our plant sale is open to everyone, we do our best to prioritize our neighbors in the Baxter neighborhood. Quantity limits on sales may be put in place based on availability.
